Babylon

Synopsis

The title is an ironic reference to the image of Sodom and Gomorrah that foreign visitors tend to have of the Dutch capital. The tower of Babel is, in this case, the steeple of Amsterdam's Westerkerk and in the five parts of this film it plays four supporting roles and one leading part.
